Attention Agents: LIFE Foundation and Newsweek Want Your Most Memorable Client Story

Insurance Professionals Encouraged to Submit Entries for the 11th Annual realLIFEstories Client Service Award Program

February 6, ‘ It is likely that every insurance agent has a memorable moment from their career when the recommendations made to a client ended up making a world of difference. The Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education (LIFE) and Newsweek are once again calling for producers to submit stories like these for consideration for the realLIFEstories Client Service Awards Program. In its 11th consecutive year, the program seeks to find and publicize examples of how real individuals have benefited from life, disability and long-term care insurance during times of great emotional and financial need.

An independent panel of judges will review entries submitted and choose five to be featured in a special advertising section in the September 4, issue of Newsweek, published during Life Insurance Awareness Month.

‘Real stories that exhibit how people have benefited from their insurance advisor‘s guidance are a powerful way to increase awareness of the need for insurance and to motivate the public to seek the help of knowledgeable professionals,‘ said David F. Woods, CLU, ChFC, president of LIFE. ‘We encourage producers from all over the country to submit their most memorable client story that illustrates the vital role insurance played in securing the financial future of an individual, business or family.‘

In addition to having their stories appear in Newsweek, the five award recipients will each receive an all-expenses-paid trip to San Francisco, CA the weekend of August 25, where they will be honored alongside their clients by their industry peers at the realLIFEstories Client Service Award Banquet. The award ceremony and banquet is held in conjunction with NAIFA‘s annual convention.

All full-time, licensed insurance agents and brokers in the United States are eligible to submit entries. Independent judges will select the winning recipients based on a one-page application form and a short essay describing their client‘s realLIFEstory.

Producers may enter online at /reallife . The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 31, and there is no cost to enter.
